RecogBarcode

RecogBarcode is a software/hardware package designed for inventories and stock management.

The Solution is mainly designed for a multi-user system environment where a good quantity of goods have to be inventoried and controlled.

The peculiarity of this system is that it is affordable (the device alone is around 50% cheaper then competition devices), very innovative and throughout useful. The Solution manages bar-code information and other information that can be typed in on the Bar- code device. The BARCODE reader BCP8000 has a memory of 99999 set of records an a battery life of 30 hours of continuous use. The BCP's devices don't need to be connected to pc to record data and they can be attached at whatever point to upload the data to a server.

The Process

The process from a front-end point of view is very simple:

1. Scan the Barcodes and type in the information you need

2. Plug-in the epad into the USB port of a PC

3. Send the data via our Sender module in 3G or LAN or WIFI mode

From a Back-end point we have a Recipient module who is installed on the Server side that takes the data that has been sent by the sender and stores it into CSV or if necessary into a Database via ODBC.

 The WorkFlow

This is an example of a workflow made with RECOGBARCODE at one of our customers:

 Workflows can be customized at Customer will. We already made around 50 different workflow system within the RecogBARCODE application.
A customer can have more then one workflow using the same hardware for different processes.

Lookup function

 The biggest innovative aspect of the BCP-8000 is the possibility to store a database with lookup files. This enables the operator to check wheather a barcoded item is within the database and store information if found or not.

 

 

 

 

 

The BCP 8000 (Hardware)

The brand new BCP-8000 is a powerful data collector that allows its operator to collect data without distance limitation. This high-profile product has a built-in Lithium-ion battery and an additional backup battery for SRAM, allowing stand-alone operation and storage of thousands of data records. Bundled with an embedded job-generator software, the portable data terminal provides users the ability to create customized database that suits their business needs. In addition, it is equipped with high quality laser scanner and large internal memory, making it the ideal device for inventory management and stocktaking.

BCP-8000 combines advanced editing and other key features to maximize the efficiency of data collecting applications. The collected data is saved as .CSV file by default, which can be imported into database table without converting into plain text file. And it can also be directly edited by any common Spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc.
